Im not a huge eggplant expert. I just trialed a bunch of varieties to find one that I enjoyed eating that was vigorous under my conditions. But the cluster of species that transition from wild/spiny/bitter/perennial into the more domesticated types has a lot of potential for breeding work.
Shane stop giving me ideas hahah. Now I have cactus and eggplant projects to work on because of your comments.
